The successful candidate will take part in the UI conceptualization and implementation of rich interactive User Interface for REUTERS.COM websites and other Thomson Reuters websites. The job requires rich experience in web based front-end technologies (HTML, JAVASCRIPT/AJAX, FLASH, PHOTOSHOP) as well as some understanding of design. The successful candidate must have a good eye for (User Interface) usability and solid knowledge and hands-on skills for front end web technologies. Qualifications HTML&CSS Javascript&AJAX Flash&ActionScript 2.0 Knowledge in the use of Photoshop&Dreamweaver. Participated in multiple website projects, from user interface and page flow design, to final creation of HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT templates. Thorough understanding of HTML&CSS (3 years+ Experience). Written javascripts for dynamic/interactive components such as drop downs and tabbed layers. Good knowledge of the differences between browsers. Experiences in AJAX. Created interactive modules in Flash, with good understanding of Flash Frames, sound channels, FLVs and ActionScript writing. Candidates must bring previous examples of work to interview.
