General Position Summary: Responsible for overall costing functions and assist Finance Controller and operation team to systematically drive down the overall production cost. 2. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: 2.1 Perform systematic tracking of product cost to support the operation team and Financial Controller to achieve the company manufacturing saving target 2.2 Prepare the monthly costing variance analysis, with actions for improvements 2.3 Develop and provide price and profitability analysis through working closely with estimation team and operation team 2.4 Supervise the daily operational activities within the cost accounting functions and play a key role in month-end closing of inventory related accounts 2.5 Responsible for costing budget 2.6 Provide leadership and guidance to staff under direct supervision 2.7 Ad hoc projects as assigned 3 Secondary Functions: Support on general ledger and financial reporting 4. General Requirement from the Management 4.1 You will participate and fully comply with the company Safety and Health Policy. 4.2 As an employee you will apply the customer concept to all activities of your job to ensure quality is foremost in your job. 4.3 Training is an ongoing component of your job that is you as an individual will receive training and likewise it’ s your responsible to train yourself and others within the company. 4.4 Continuous improvement techniques are to be applied when ever possible to your job and we must always consider and accept alternative approach to your job. 5. Job Scope: Work is moderately routine with frequent variation from the norm. Work involves a high degree of complexity. Duties are performed with little direction given. Errors may result in reporting mistakes and could lead to poor financial decisions. 6. Supervisory Responsibility: Full responsibility for costing functions 7. Interpersonal Contact: Have regular contacts with company financial and non-financial staff, corporate financial staff, auditors, tax departments, SAFE and other related authorities. Reporting to: Financial Controller Subordinates: Sr. Cost Accountant 8. Specific Job Skills: Numerical capability. Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. Good leadership skills. Good communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage. 9. Education Requirement: Bachelor degree or above in accounting, finance or related discipline. CPA, ACCA or other qualification issued by recognized accounting bodies is preferred. 10. Experience Requirement: 5--8 years related experience in finance function in a MNC with minimum 4 years cost accounting Working experience on general ledger and financial analysis is preferred SAP system knowledge / experience is a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 联系方式: .
