It is envisaged the successful candidate will be a crucial member of the Finance team and work closely with the commercial team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to enable the Company to meet all of its financial and commercial obligations and to maintain a high standard of financial discipline and compliance with regards to the company"s statutory obligations. Responsibilities In conjunction with the Finance Manager: To coordinate the financial operations of Bauxite and Alumina trading activities within the PRC. To ensure the timely and effective accounting and financial reporting services and systems in accordance with company policy and PRC statutory obligations. Ensure the implementation and compliance with company financial accounting policies and reporting systems in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards (PRC GAAP and IFRS). Assist with the analysis of the company"s financial position on a regular basis, based on business plans, actual and budgeted results and provide reports with observations / recommendations to the wider finance team. Administer the activities of the company"s finance operations in all areas of accounts payable and accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, monthly closing, Account reconciliation, tax administration and other related finance and administrative functions. Work closely with the wider B team in Beijing supporting their activities Co-ordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections to guide the financial management of the company. Participation in developing an effective risk management strategy for the company. Development and implementation of an effective internal control structure. Awareness of and compliance to all applicable finance&tax legislation. Work closely with External Auditors. Assist Finance Manager with his/her responsibilities. Qualifications University graduate in major of Accounting / Finance Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting. 3-4 years (minimum) experience in general accounting within a trading company (WOFE preferred). Certification in a recognized professional designation is required. Broad knowledge of and ongoing awareness of accounting principles and regulations governing business accounting and taxation rules Good knowledge PRC Accounting Standards and IFRS.
