Our client is a US based global telecommunication technology developer and manufacturer. Responsibilities: Based in Shenzhen Hi-Tech Industrial Park, the Financial Controller will manage and control the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance functions of the China engineering and development centres. Direct liaison with the CFO based in US. The appointee will ensure smooth and effective communication and reporting of the operation and financial results to the US head office. Maintain accounting systems (Financial Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Cost Accounting and Inventory, Accounts Payable, Credit / Accounts Receivable) and ensure proper financial and accounting records. Preparing financial statements and management reports. Review and develop policies and procedures. Lead the preparation of management reports, forecasts and budgets to meet with the corporate management reporting and control requirements. Ensure compliance of all local statutory requirements with proper documentation. Monitor the filing and compliance with all relevant tax and custom issues. Candidate Specifications: University graduate with professional accounting qualification. Around 10 years well-rounded accounting experience gained from multinational or renowned companies in high-tech products. Candidates who cannot communicate in fluent English will not be considered. Well-versed in China accounting and tax matters. Previous experience with ERP system or international accounting system. Knowledge of international accounting standards and manufacturing costing system.
