Work with various Project Managers on data center projects in China. Have the capacity of planning - ongoing reviews of DC capacity plan. Provide Quality Assurance - request post-mortem review on major problems, conduct or participate in post-implementation review meetings Be third Party Vendors - provide information regarding internal focal points for support and for any third party contract arrangements. Provide Security/Audit/Risk Management - ensure compliance with related DBS policies, coordinate audits and ensure service provider acts on recommendations. Recover Disaster - define disaster recovery requirements, authorize disaster recovery plan, and approve changes to the disaster recovery plan. Be capable of Incident Management. Supervise operation team to maintain day to day DC operation in multiple locations including computer system maintenance, scheduled batch job processing submission, scheduled backup/restore and BCP/DRP drill. Be responsible of accurate and prompt delivery of all assigned tasks. Requirements More than 5 years relevant working experiences in financial industry IT. Good knowledge of banking business and technology. Extensive experience (minimally 5 years) in providing IT infrastructure support, hands-on experience of managing medium to large scale DC operation. Good knowledge in open system, database and network, such as Unix, AIX, Wintel platform, Oracle, Sybase, Data Guard, Tivoli, SAN, Norton Anti-virus, etc. Strong leadership and management skill, self-motivated, proactive and analytical, able to work independently and also a team player. Good Communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Ability to speak Cantonese will be preferred. Experience in working in a local or foreign bank will be preferred. Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT related disciplines.
