ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION ¨¹ Create a market development plan with clear goals and objectives to include revenue and profits targets for the country. With the Marketing Manager, coordinates sales and marketing tactical plans for the Chinese Market. Monitors sales performance against the plan and recommends profit improvements and/or cost containment ideas. ¨¹ Identify potential business opportunities and select effective channels to market. ¨¹ Identify and define markets and potential for the core Additives product lines (dispersants, biocides, polyacrylamide and defoamer). ¨¹ Achieve profit objectives. ¨¹ Evaluate business potential and introduce new products, as needed for success. ¨¹ Manage and develop subordinates (if any) under jurisdiction. ¨¹ Develop and maintain local language product literature and other sales tools. ¨¹ Negotiate and maintain agreements and contracts for customers in country in cooperation with the Marketing Manager and Product Managers. ¨¹ Develop and enforce pricing with the help of product management. ¨¹ Identify major global and key local competitors, develop profiles, and monitor competitive activity. ¨¹ Evaluate Additives¡¯ products versus local competitive products. ¨¹ Identify new product development projects and lead commercialization targeting specific market applications. ¨¹ Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships. ¨¹ Determine feasibility and need to produce core products in China.
