Responsibility: 1, Develop/monitor budgets, manage the activities of Physical lab, administer personnel policies, develop and coordinate operational goals of the lab functions. 2, Supervise medium size staff of professionals to accomplish the physical(electrical, mechanical, thermal, rheology, polymer specific, etc) characterization task, correct interpret of the test results and prepare or guide to write a formal report to explain the results so that the non-professional people can understand. 3, Initiates or recommends modifications to standard testing procedures, guidance of the lab staffs for the equipment management&calibration. 4, May work as an individual contributor in technical part of the time. 5, Assure adequate documentation and reporting of procedures and test results. 6, Work with other physical lab within group contributing to specified project and organize round-robin test if necessary. Requirement: 1, Master degree with minimum 1 year experience. Major in Material Science and Engineering and/or Polymer Materials and Engineering Programs. 2, Lab management experience is a must; 3, Have experience to use instruments related with measurement of Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, Rheology, Polymer specific, and etc. (i.e. SSA, PSD, DSC, TGA, DTA, rheometer, TMA, DMA, UTS RT ). 4, 1-3 years working experience in physical testing; experiences in Service Organization are preferred. 5, Relative experiences in Ceramics, Plastics, Abrasives and/or Glasses industry are preferred; 6, Fluent in both verbal and written English.
