Business Development Manager, Customer Support&Maintenance, Asia Pacific Work Location: Any province in China The Business Development Manager (BDM) focused on Customer Support and Maintenance aligned with the Global Industry Solutions Team. This position is responsible for enhancing the commercial relationship between Client and our customers. The BDM will be the focal point for selling the CSM portfolio within assigned accounts. They will utilize his/her domain expertise and apply techno-commercial skills to create new opportunities and increase our market share in the region. Principle duties&responsibilities: - Works as a cooperative team member with Industry Account Managers/Key Account Managers to co-plan and prioritize the activities which will generate greatest value for the customer and Group CSM Business - Work proactively with the assigned accounts to identify potential opportunities, qualifying Client and close new CSM business - Drive growth in the deploying appropriate strategies to ¡°Find¡± and ¡°Close¡± new business. - Work towards Account development and raise our acceptance CSM across assigned Asia Pacific Region - Build Customer relationship and manage the customer relationship by working with the local Industry Team - Responsible for organizing seminars, create awareness among customers. - Actively pursue the cross country projects by deploying appropriate strategies. - Should be able to travel within Asia Pacific ( at least 60% ) Requirements: - Bachelor of Sciene in engineering field or equivalent study. - A minimum of 8-10 years related experience with recognized technical expertise in applying Services and Solution in a automation industry - Strong business knowledge and demonstrated leadership skills. - Technical sales support, direct sales, or sales consultant experience is required. - Familiar with customer centric selling or equivalent sales process for solution selling. - Must be familiar with Process Control and Electrical Automation such as drives, Motor Control Centers and Condition Monitoring. - Fluent Putonghua and one or two Chinese dialects. Conversational English.
