He makes sure that the Level Designers understand the game design and deliver exciting levels He is skilled in the creation of game levels and character based gameplay scenarios. He’s responsible for contributing to level concept, layout, implementation (camera, entity, etc.), prototype modeling, scenario creation, event scripting, game balancing, pacing, and gameplay tuning. As part of the design team, he is also expected to contribute to general game design, as well as cooperate with all other facets of game production (programming, environment/world art and animation). Requirements: Having shipped at least one game in a senior level designer role. Having shipped at least two games in a level designer role, with experience in writing scripts and 3D implementation Be able to communicate in a clear and concise way, and be the bridge between the leads and the level designers Is able to consider game-wide mechanics including pacing and story, game balance, and difficulty curve. Possess the ability and desire to contribute in a highly creative environment, provide unique concepts and solutions. Have a good understanding of the game market, can analyze competitive products to identify key strengths and weaknesses. Be able to quickly adapt to change, finding creative solutions and maintaining positive momentum in the face of adversity. Be able to communicate, evolve, and proactively push the game design; and moreover, have a passion for playing / creating creative and quality videogames. Bachelor (Computer Science preferred) CET-4 Plus: CET-6 职责: 关卡主设计师负责管理所有关卡设计师,并且负责设计出充满乐趣和挑战的关卡; 必须确保所有的管卡设计师理解游戏的设计理念和能递交出令人激动的关卡; 基于特定的情节能熟练地创造出游戏关卡和人物; 关卡主设计师对以下内容负责:关卡概念设计、布局、搭建(视角,物体,等等)、原型建模、情节场景设定、事件脚本设定、游戏平衡、节奏和可玩性调节; 作为策划团队的一部分, 关卡主设计师也应该对游戏的整体设计做出自己的贡献,当然也应该能和游戏制作团队中的其他人员(程序、场景美工和动画等)有良好的合作关系; 岗位要求 : 至少作为资深关卡设计师全程参与开发一款已发售的游戏; 至少作为关卡设计师全程参与开发两款已发售的游戏, 有写脚本和搭建三维场景的经验; 交流清晰准确并且是其他部门的leader和关卡设计师之间交流的桥梁; 能以考虑游戏整体的机制,包括游戏节奏、主线情节、平衡和难度曲线; 有能力和愿望去建立一个有高度创造性的工作环境,和提供独特的理念和解决方案; 对游戏市场有一个比较好的理解,能够分析竞争对手产品的关键优缺点; 能够迅速的适应变化,在面对逆境时能找到创造性的解决方案和保持积极的心态; 能主动的交流、改进和推动游戏策划;并且有激情去玩/制作有创造性和高质量的游戏; 学士学位(最好是计算机科学专业); CET-4(通过四级或者达到及格水平) 有以下条件者优先: CET-6(通过六级级或者达到及格水平); 联系方式: 有意者请将求职信,中英文简历,期望薪资,最快到职日期,美术职位加手绘(素描、水彩)和三维作品(否则申请无效)发至: hr@virtuos.com.cn 或者 邮寄至:延安西路1326号10楼 邮编:200052,并在邮件主题中注明应聘职位,在邮件中说明信息来源。 注:请以附件形式发送作品,链接无效。 公司网址: www.virtuosgames.com - www.virtuos.com.cn .
