JOB DESCRIPTION This is a Web development position with focus on the front end (1st Layer). The successful candidate will be a part of the team building the next generation of rich media content management, delivery, and personalization platform for thomsonreuters.com. The job requires a good computer science background, experience in building web applications, especially in user interface development and rich media components. Must have eye for detail. Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong software development discipline, ability to learn and apply new technologies, and ability to work on a team. Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS Java/JSP/, SQL, Apache. Deep understanding and experience with different browser platforms. DHTML/JavaScript/CSS, XML/XSL/XHTML, HTTP AJAX, Flash, Photoshop Experience with multi language websites. Experience with a versioning system (e.g., CVS/SVN) is required. B.S. or M.S. in C.S., E.E. or Math required. Japanese is a plus. Net experience is a plus.
