Run various types of tests and record results. Analyze and isolate defects, create clear bug reports and verify bug fixes. Assist the development team with troubleshooting various technical issues. Configure and maintain various systems with latest windows operating systems and applications. Support NPI and Factory issues at CEM facilities. Maintain clear communication channels with North American office to implement new product testing needs. Participation in test code design reviews and provide technical feedbacks Qualifications: BSEE required, MSEE preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and development. Experience in design, development, and execution of test cases and test plans. Knowledge of data communication, GPIB protocol, C/C++ code and good operation of test equipment. Solid knowledge of test techniques and methods, as well as strong background in test engineering discipline. Familiarity with either CDMA-1xRTT/EVDO or GPRS/UMTS standards preferred Knowledge of 802.11 testing desirable Excellent English/Mandarin communication skills Willingness to travel as needed Novatel Wireless, Inc. is a leading provider of wireless broadband access solutions for the worldwide mobile communications market.
