We are one of the biggest R Productization Centers in executing a range of product development programs. In the sourcing organization we take care of all materials-related activities in product development programs. Our primary responsibility is to ensure that the right suppliers and materials are selected in order to optimize technology, quality, supply and cost. Sourcing is involved from the early beginning of a product program until end-of-life building the success on close cooperation with other program functions, the global sourcing and procurement network as well as suppliers. You will actively participate in the product programs management team where you will be responsible for the sourcing activities and budget. You act as project manager for the program sourcing team ensuring that materials are delivered at the right time meeting quality, quantity and cost requirements. The key responsibility is implementing the sourcing and supply line management strategy in the programs you are assigned to. Your main tasks will be: - Ensure supply and availability of materials for all program phases, from prototypes to mass production - Cost Management in programs, ensuring profitability of new products - Quality and risk management of materials - Project Management, providing direction for and planning the program sourcing team"s activities - Procurement specifications to be executed by purchasing managers The job offers excellent challenges within sourcing in a global and innovative environment with good career opportunities among engaged and competent colleagues. Our production sites and suppliers are located all over the world, so you should expect approximately 50 traveling days annually. To succeed in the job you have: -A business degree with a good technical understanding or a degree in engineering with a distinct commercial focus -Have a solid international working experience with business focused project management preferably from telecommunications or consumer electronics -Knowledge about sourcing and supply chain supplemented by good negotiation skills -Excellent oral and written English skills As a person you have excellent networking and communication skills enabling you to identify and establish relationships with key persons. Facilitating team work and building sourcing team is one of your key strengths and you are able to convince and influence others to gain commitment. Your leadership skills enable you to coach, motivate and delegate effectively. Your flair for planning and organizing will help you ensure that the projects you are involved in will keep on track ensuring a timely delivery of materials.
