Provide support in identifying of suitable suppliers/manufacturers Mining and Minerals Industry, Mining Related Equipment and Vehicles, Construction&Building Materials. Provide support in evaluating a vendor technically and should be capable of comparing technical parameters of various equipment and machinery related to above mentioned industry and also capable of translating technical words in English. Capable of checking and understanding the specifications and drawings of industrial products and also able to translate technical parameters in English to support the manager. Develop, maintain&update a database of existing and potential product manufacturers, distributors and dealers. Preparing comparative charts on technical parameters for the various products details received from different suppliers. Will be also responsible for maintaining the expenses for the department. Will be responsible for arranging travel plan for the manager and doing necessary travel and stay bookings for the manager. Will also help in HR related work to the manager to identify potential candidates and arranging interviews etc. Requirements: Graduate or post graduate in Engineering studies (Preferably Mechanical Engineer) Basic qualification and experience required to carry out inspection as per codes/laid out procedure. Basic commercial acumen / drive Fluent in English and Mandarin. Working knowledge of computers esp. MS Office word, excel, power point. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw etc will be an added advantage. At least 5 years of work experience in a small to medium sized Engineering unit such as Fabrication Unit or Boiler and Pressure vessel/ Dryer Manufacturer. The working knowledge of all the aspects of manufacturing process is desirable along with some knowledge of Exports and International Trade. Willingness to travel.
