Key Responsibilities: A.Product Management responsibility for Power Products in Asia Pacific and be the region¡¯s principal interface with the Global Power Products team. B.Participate in cross-functional team/s to manage the product lines including product life cycle management (Product phase in/phase out). C.Monitor P&L results and recommend changes to mee t top and bottom line objectives. D.Propose prioritization of engineering development activities as they relate to the A-P region E.Interface with the Sales Team, Distributors and Customers to promote and support the sale of Power Products throughout the region. Interface includes both commercial and technical support. F.Gather and analyze market data from various internal and external sources. G.Sponsor major and minor new product programs including research, identification of potential, specification, financial analysis, resource requirements, and presentation to appropriate levels of management. H.Provide expert program management of product launch to the regional markets, interfacing with A-P Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Global Supplier Sourcing. Participate in Pre-launch activity to support Group level funded Power technology projects. I.Maintain the integrity of the product line price structure, both regionally and globally, of product and features with respect to market and competitive considerations through the development and implementation of pricing strategies, in total and major OEM customers at both regional and country level. J.Maintain current status on competitive products and competitor initiatives as well other threats to Power Product group sales. K.Provide sales forecasts in support of strategic plan, profit plan and capital appropriations. L.Manage schedule and content of product catalogs of new and updated Power Product families as they relate to A-P product initiatives Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements Strong sales/marketing experience; Possesses a broad global and regional market perspective; Broad technical experience and understanding of the Power Product offerings; Strengths in planning and strategic thinking; High skill level in computer utilization; Strong business acumen with experience in and aptitude for understanding financial analysis and accounting principles; High levels of statistical skills utilized for market/competitor/industry/platform trend and data analysis; Strong public speaking/presentation skills utilized in conjunction with participation in various and industry meetings; Minimum education Bachelor¡¯s Degree; This position requires an aggressive individual who relishes a fast paced work environment with a high level of involvement. The ability to think across functional boundaries with a strong focus on results will enhance overall effectiveness. The ability to understand and communicate on a technical level is an absolute essential. A strong business sense is required to make judgements on customer and market acceptance of decisions made in this position on items ranging from product/feature offering to price positioning. A person successful in this position must be able to work independently as well as coordinate and leverage the efforts of others to reach determined goals. The person must be a strong communicator in written and oral formats to disseminate ideas, gain approvals, provide instruction and respond to upper management inquiries on key regional Power projects.
