JOB SUMMARY The Strategic Sourcing Manager has overall responsibility for supporting the Purchasing Director on long term supply market strategy planning and managing a team dedicated to supply market intelligence and overall execution of supplier identification and on-boarding programs in the International Purchasing office.. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Supply Market Planning -Support Director of Global Souring in long term supply market strategy planning by providing recommendations, leveraging on supply market intelligence results Supply Market Intelligence -Provide leadership to team in supply market intelligence research and analysis activities for visibility in key cost drivers, pricing trends, emerging market regions, supply market adjustments, capabilities and capacities etc -Develop and implement research, analysis and intelligence reporting methodology, tools, databases and processes -Support internal purchasing and strategic suppliers review and new product development programs with supply market intelligence Sourcing Project Delivery -Overall responsibility for on-time delivery of high-quality Sourcing Services projects. -Monitoring the progress of individual projects and providing guidance to sourcing team members in execution of sourcing projects -Serve as escalation point for project quality issues for sourcing team members as well as internal QA /QC team -Develop and improve sourcing project management tools and processes, leveraging from industrial best practices -Introduce new sources / vendors Operational Deliverables -Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and programs in pursuance of operational excellence -Develop, implement and track team performance metrics in alignment with division/corporate goals and objectives -Ensuring teams are consistently using and adhering to operating procedures and work instructions -Keeping leadership up to date on resource needs and project status with reporting and project management tools -Maintaining seemless inter-departmental relationships Product / Scaleable Knowledge Development -Design the overall sourcing category plan for product lines and categories -Develop and document sourcing best practices through creation of knowledge documents -Quickly acquire commodity knowledge in categories where there is limited internal knowledge, as customer needs arise People Development -Actively mentors and provides guidance to team members -Actively develops and provides training to team members -Writing and conducting performance reviews -Maintaining a qualified and motivated staff -Training for further development of functional expertise and competencies -Managing performance related decisions which include, but are not limited to, employee hiring, promotions, compensation recommendations, and termination Others Travel is required Resume to us,please write down the job title with the code,thanks! 联系方式: .
