The Corporate Banker will focus on the Treasurer and Treasury staff on accounts jointly managed with an investment banker. The Corporate Banker will be the Client Executive where investment banking coverage is less developed and more opportunistic in nature. The Corporate Banker may also be the Branch Manager in new offices outside of Beijing and Shanghai. Main Responsibilities: Ensure a holistic client coverage approach Drive increased penetration of client wallet and forge a closer relationship with our clients Evaluate client¡¯s main issues/needs and outline opportunities for JPMorgan Serve as a key point of contact within the bank for the client Treasurer and other senior managers where appropriate Coordinate product partners to broaden client use of bank¡¯s services Drive the account planning process and outline the financial view for portfolio accounts and agreed prospects. Partner with Client Credit Management for all credit related needs and insure that Balance Sheet Committee requests are appropriate Work with CE¡¯s and Product groups in identifying new market opportunities and converting targeted prospects to clients Primary Product focus: Debit products (Loans, syndications, ABS and Private placements) FX and Derivatives Trade and Logistics Core cash management, liquidity products and commercial card offerings Custody, securities clearing and ADRs Investment management Performance Evaluation: Deal generation and pipeline development Account plans versus execution Overall portfolio performance (revenue growth, saves, new business, ROE/SAV) Acquisition of new clients Call frequency and referrals Partnership scores with CEs, TSS, Credit and other product groups Reporting lines: To in-country Corporate Banking Head(s) To Asia Pacific Corporate Banking Head Skills/experience: Able to work with many different types of people, including investment bankers, traders, sales operations support, credit and senior management Ability to represent the firm to senior client management Strong organizational skills to handle a client portfolio of 20-25 accounts or a larger portfolio of prospects Credit trained or experienced Strong communication skills Local language&fluent in English, market familiarity and contacts are a big plus Interested candidates who wish to excel in their career please apply now sending your cv to Rebecca.li@hays.cn or call +86 21 2322 9600 ext 2355.
