PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: l IT support to company’s Equities Trading Desk, which trades mainly Chinese A-shares but will also trade Bonds and Warrants listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen Exchange; l The role would involve: - Providing user support for the connectivity system and trading system that the Trading Desk use for accepting orders from international clients and executing orders against Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges; - Learn and document of the needs and issues from the Trading Desk in their use of such systems and raise requests to other company IT colleagues or vendors to make enhancements and bug fixes; - Work with vendors and colleagues both inside and outside of China to coordinate development of such enhancements and bug fixes; - Test new versions of such systems for new enhancements and bug fixes; - Develop tactical solutions using tools such as MS Access, Visual Basic to fulfill Trading Desk’s other requirements; - Develop UNIX and SQL scripts to automate various system management tasks. Key Targets&Objectives of Roles: l Clients - Understand and respond to needs of the Trading Desk including establishment of requirements, priorities deadlines and specific user needs; - With help from manager, build relationship with colleagues from the Trading Desk. l People - Work closely with vendors and other IT teams in the region to deliver solutions required by Trading Desk. l Economic - Write proper documentation to share knowledge with other team mates. l Functional/Technical - Apply IT skill in diagnosing and solving issues found during testing and found by users; - Develop tactical solutions using MS Access, Visual Basic or any application technology; - Work with manager and team mates to ensure systems stability. REQUIREMENTS: l Bachelor Degree or above, major in Computer Science, Math or Engineering; l Working experience in application development or support experience in equities brokerage business is preferred but not required; l High motivation to learn from both business and IT perspective; l Must be able to work under pressure and deal with problems independently; l Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin); l Good communication skills; l Minimum 2-years experience working in IT department of multi-national companies, preferably in the financial industry; l High motivation to learn new knowledge from both business and IT perspective; l Can often travel on business within China; l Can work under pressure and deal with problem independently. l Strong team player, able to work with various people and with different departments; l Flexibility in work hours; l Equities Trading and Fix Protocol preferred; l Fair knowledge of SQL. 联系方式： .
