Be part of the next version of Visual Studio .NET in a remarkably unique and challenging position in the newly formed China R Center for the Developer Division. We are looking for an experienced, customer and team focused individual who has the ability manage both developers and testers. Your team will work on multiple challenging and strategic feature areas for the next version of Visual Studio and beyond. You will need to hire and establish an agile, highly productive team and develop team process. To do that you will need to coach, mentor, and grow junior team members, as well as work closely with the Redmond Developer Division. You will need strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, ability to solve deeply technical issues, and have the ability to manage multiple disciplined teams. You must have strong cross-group collaboration skills and cultural sensitivity to work with teams both in China and in the US. You must also have 7+ years of software development and shipping experience and 2+ years of developer or testing lead experience. Note that this position is comparable in scope to a developer or testing lead in Redmond. This position requires excellent written and verbal English skills, BS or MS degree in Computer Science related major, and strong problem solving and process skills.
