Job Description Position in the Release Engineering team that is responsible for source control, building, localization, installation, and support of developers for multiplatform software. The engineer will work closely with other release engineers, developers, and QA engineers to develop a web based build system that supports all product builds the team is responsible for. The candidate should also be able to assist in maintaining of current build systems, develop build scripts, help maintain the source control system, and develop/implement new build tools. Qualifications Requirements Current or recent college graduate with bachelors in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent. Competent in one or more scripting languages. Preferably ANT, NANT, Perl, JavaScript, batch, or shell. Experience using and administering a source control system. Understanding of configuration management principles and procedures. Basic experience with creating or updating automated scripts and/or tools. Working knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems. Self motivated and able to work both independently and with teams, including team members at remote sites. Strong attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written). Preferred Experience with web technologies including jsp and html. Experience with InstallShield and/or InstallAnywhere technologies. Working knowledge of RedHat and/or Suse Linux. Understanding of Mobile technology with familiarity of one or more of the following: Windows Mobile, Symbian, J2ME, and Palm. Experience with Cruise Control.
