Scope Nokia has an immediate need for a highly resourceful Test software development engineer to be responsible for testing and qualification of its Network Security hardware. Responsibilities Develop automated test scripts for functional, burn-in and software installation. Design, procure and build test fixtures. Analyze, troubleshoot, identify root cause, and drive issues to closure with preventive measures. Interface with CM and OEM partners. Influence internal test processes, monitor yield reports, review and influence mfg processes. Plan, communicate and take ownership of projects in a fast paced environment, working as part of a team or individually. Recommend product design changes to improve testability and test coverage. Qualifications BS/MS in EE, CS or equivalent. 7+ years test development experience in x86 Intel architecture, TCP/IP, switching fabric and networking layers. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Detailed knowledge of Unix, Linux&Windows environment Extensive test software scripting experience in Tcl, Tk and Expect. Ability to communicate and interface with HW/SW engineering groups to discuss test strategies and concerns.
