The position is based in Beijing , China . The candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring the products meet the customer requirements, of the highest quality and are built within budget. The m ain focus of this position will be to work with US manager and lead the team in China to deliver new features for up-coming releases and maintain existing product. Candidates should demonstrate the ability and commitment to complete high quality work in a timely manner within tight schedules. Current openings provide a great opportunity to work on one of the first Oracle applications built on top of the Fusion technologies such as ADF 10.1.3 a nd 11g . We are looking for engineers who are passionate about learning new technologies and staying ahead of the curve. Candidates should be highly self-motivated; have a very strong educational background in Computer Science/Engineering; and have a proven track record of designing and developing products successfully . The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in object-oriented software engineering, including experience with Java, J2EE, Java script, Swing, XSLT, Struts, Web Services, database, and web based application development. Job Responsibilities Lead and assist the engineering team in the technical fronts Work with PM to capture customer requirements accurately Responsible for the design and architecture of the products Implement and unit test new features Fix defects and work with QA to ensure the quality of the products Use ClearCase as source control management system Set up and configure of Siebel and third party components Exhibit professionalism in attitude, working relationships with colleagues, flexibility and overall work ethic . Mentor junior team members Keep management and project teams informed through various effective communication channels such as emails and conference calls Requirements : Bachelor or Master"s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 5+ years product development using Java, J2EE, Java script, Swing, XSLT, Struts, and Web Services Familiarity with J2EE applications Familiarity with Windows and Unix platforms (Solaris / AIX / Linux) Ability to setup and configure Weblogic and IIS application server Familiarity with Oracle and MSSQL databases Good knowledge of SQL, SP, Triggers, views Exposure in DB tracing tools in Oracle / MS SQL server Professional experience with source control software (ClearCase is preferred) Ability to maintain/modify build scripts using ANT and Opus Make Exposure to Java code quality tools such as JUnit, Clover, and CheckStyle Exposure to Java profiling tools such as JMeter, JProfiler, AppPerfect Lead candidates must have at least 1 year team lead experience.
