HTT is a global leader for its turbocharging and thermal systems for passenger car and commercial diesel applications. CPG is a global provider of a variety of leading branded automotive products, including the Prestone, Holts, Autolite, Fram, Bendix and Jurid brands. With annual revenues of more than $4B, TS employs over 13,000 in over 30 sites worldwide. The commodity buyer executes the sourcing process for assigned TS commodities, either for a specified geographic region or WW. Other key duties include: In assigned sub-commodity/group of commodities (Region or WW), meets/exceeds AOP/STRAP performance objectives by: - assisting in the development and by executing comprehensive sourcing strategies; - Optimizing supplier base size - Implementing TCO costing models - Growing Emerging Region expenditures - Implementing timely and cost effective VA/VE actions - Negotiating ST and LT Agreements, including pricing, quality, lead time, mode of shipment and payment terms - Administering high performance based supply contracts Owns Quality, cost, delivery, lead time, raw material inventory, DPP and service productivity for assigned commodities Owns Data Integrity in ERP system (JDE, SAP or other system) and in one source for assigned commodities Builds deep industry, regional and commodity subject matter expertise Monitors and reports performance of suppliers and related industry macroeconomic trends to peers and stakeholders. strong focus on investigating potential suppliers in China and the direct neighbour countries including Eastern Russia . Cooperation with Engineering, Supplier Development and Supplier Quality functions Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in purchasing, preferably within the automotive industry - Bachelor¡¯s degree in related field or equivalent work experience, Master¡¯s degree preferred - Multi-site industry experience strongly preferred - Proven experience in supplier negotiations including preparing and administering Long term agreements Skills: - Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate concisely at all levels inside and outside the company - Strong ability to lead, communicate and act in a multi-culture and cross-functional environment - Tough and sound negotiator - Action oriented with proven track record of achieving business goals - Team builder, motivator and team player - Strategic thinker; uses creative and innovative problem solving approach Key Success Factors: Achieves AOP and STRAP commitments High personal and professional integrity ÁªÏµ·½Ê½£º .
