Report progress to project manager Disciplinary reporting to SW Manager or Senior Manager Requirement / qualification: eg. Degree, major, age, working experience… B.A. in computer science, computer engineering or other engineering field with strong SW engineering training. M.S. degree a plus At least five years SW design working experience, preferred in automotive industry Excellent experience and technical skill in C, C++ programming Good Knowledge and experience on embedded microprocessors/controllers that are commonly used in automotive applications Deep understanding on software development processes and SW design quality requirements Experience with communication buses and protocols, e.g. CAN, LIN, MOST, J1587, J1708, J1939, Bluetooth, W-LAN etc. Experience and know how on multimedia devices definitely a plus. Such devices include MP3/MP4 players, GPS&portable navigation, iPod, mobile phone, and portable entertainment device etc. Experience and knowledge on vehicle infotainment systems will be definitely considered.
