A qualified professional will be compensated with competitive package. Job Responsibility: - In close cooperation with the Regional Legal Counsel and the Shanghai Procurement Hub Risk Assessor, develop and maintain a dynamic record of Contracting practice experience, best practice results, pitfalls to be avoided and market behaviors to be aware of. - Be prepared to present and defend these observations as part of a continuous education process for the global supply community. Ensure findings are fed back into Global Supply Best Practice Documents. - Provide routine contracting and procurement traffic profiles and volumes, completion and other performance data to the regional engagement manager as required. - Develop and manage processes to maintain electronic and hardcopy records of all commly contract related activities law Global Supply best practices or as established by policy. - Assist and support the regional Engagement Manager to act as the on-gound lead in the PRC for the contracting award development, authoring and negotiation. Whee delegated take the lead on assigned projects. - Project manage PRC end of the contract development process in close cooperation with and to meet the requirements of the Asset, PDS or Global Supply Commodity manager customers. Job Requirement - Bachelor degree is essential - Track record in delivering results - Experience in leading regional sourcing initiatives as a minimum, global sourcing highly desirable; - Proven project management experience - Solid contract law grounding and commercial acumen - Process/Systems including E-Business - Very strong negotiation skills and experience - Understanding of Six Sigma Plus Processes - Under strategic direction ability to lead re-engineering of and implementation of new supply business processes as well as strategic change management initiatives. - Strong analytical skills, and ability to translate and implement those into clearly thought-through processes. - Very good communication/influencing and persuasion skills, particularly across the Chinese/English language barrier.
