Manage the joint venture align, prioritize and pragmatically manage day-to-day internal administration, sales and service , manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain functions, and accounting reporting in pursuit of reaching the established goals as defined by the Board of Directors. This position will have P responsibilities. 1.2. Effectively and cross-functionally lead and over time build out the management team and organizational structure to achieve customer requirements and company goals. 1.3. Proactively drive and support the company’s market development and customer relations activities. The Deputy General Manager will ultimately be active and have a visible presence in the marketplace by providing hands-on leadership in developing strong customer relationships, both internal and external, while also implementing processes to appropriately service all customers. 1.4. Coordinate with Focal Point to help create a cohesive, effective and efficient operations group through transferring, tutoring and distilling managing tools and systems into the JV, and development of people and hands-on execution of operating plans. 1.5. Liaise as appropriate with the partner company, Focal Point, to establish efficient communication between the two partner companies, develop annual and long-term financial objectives, report ongoing performance against these plans, and continuously recommend appropriate adjustments in operational, commercial and business strategies. 1.6. Assist the General Manager to oversee and manage administrative activities necessary for the effective functioning of the company, including governmental relationships, operational reporting, human resources, financial reporting, etc. 要求: 1.1. University degree required and preference for MBA. 1.2. At least 8 years experience in industrial environments with demonstrated ability to manage business in both Western and Chinese cultural environment. Has preferably held prior industrial general management role with or without P responsibility as well as gained professional experience with an international company. 1.3. Experience in running manufacturing operations with track record of improving operating efficiencies. Experience with continuous improvement methods (e.g. Six Sigma) and in PU foaming industry a plus. 1.4. Demonstrated leadership, team building and people management skills in both Chinese and Western environments towards achievement of company goals. The Deputy General Manager is expected to lead by example, subscribe to and expand the company’s operating culture of accountability, collaboration, open and effective communication, customer focus, training, personal growth, equal opportunity and employee satisfaction. 1.5. Understanding of conducting business in Asia, particularly China, as well as the Western world. Flexible and open minded individual with an appreciation for cultural, team work. 1.6. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin Chinese as well as sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 1.7. Willingness to live in / relocate to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, PRC. 1.8. Proven strategic thinking and management skills as well as good knowledge of accounting and financial planning. 1.9. Demonstrated ability to set and achieve high standards as an individual and as a leader 1.10.
