Technical support for installation of fixed gas detectors. Run the service workshop to repair our products. Help sales team in selling migration opportunities. Help sales with configuration of complex systems in specific projects. Training distributors. Principal Networks&Contact Links Internal China Sales Manager Area Sales Managers HAAP, Order Processing and Supply Chain Sales Administration, Logistics, Shipping Department Marketing Department External Distributors Major Industrial Customers Suppliers of complimentary products to industry Consultants and Design influencers Approvals authorities Supervisory Responsibilities None (3rd party distribution only) Budgetary Responsibilities None (Quarterly Sales Target only) Geographic Scope&Travel Requirements China&domestic travel. Qualifications Education Required (academic and/or technical education) Degree Technical subject Technical Qualification in Electrical/Electronics Basic knowledge of Chemistry Computer Literacy, experience with MS Office Work Experience Required (area and length of experience) 3-4 years experience in service role Knowledge of Gas Detection will be an advantage Team player should work with sales team in resolving complaints from distributors or customers Should be proficient in Hardware and application software support Experience in networking techniques through MODBUS, HART, BACNET, OPC for Integration with third party systems will be an advantage Technical Skills&Specific Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position) Nature of flammable and toxic gases Personal safety and protection equipment use in hazardous areas PLC fire&gas detection systems, Behavioural Competencies Required (e.g. organisational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.) Ability to self manage and organise a widely variable workload Excellent communications skills Hold a reputable and respected position in the working environment Customer focussed. To possess a desire to “delight the customer” Have the initiative to make contact with internal and external network links, when required Diplomacy in customer relations Willing to travel. Can do offshore and onshore service field visits. Language Requirements (written and spoken skills) Good in written and verbal communication.
