Reporting to Engineering Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of Electronics Engineers to design&develop electronic control systems products for global markets. You will base in Shenzhen and main Responsibilities should include: Ensure sound management of all personnel involved in the design process, ensuring that all facets of the design are recorded in accordance with company design control procedures. Ensure that project deliverable’s are met on budget and on time. Report to senior management in relation to the status of a design or development. Recommend and justify equipment capital expenditure within the department. Provide technical support as required by department personnel or other internal and external customers. Provide mentoring to staff to build up the necessary skills to ensure best practices for design and development are adopted. Undertake research and development to determine feasibility of new electronic design techniques and solutions for most efficient end product design To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in analogue&digital design, firmware development, RF and specification development with a strong emphasis in power electronics design principals. Familiarity with power, lighting and/or security control and the ability to understand the technical concepts of control system type products. A working knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP based communications. Knowledge and experience with obtaining product approvals such as CE&UL: PCB layout using Protel. Knowledge and experience in electronics manufacturing and quality requirements. Fluent English and Chinese is an absolute must.
