As part of the OpenTV OS Reference Platform Team, this individual will be responsible for design, implementation and integration of low level code on a variety of hardware platforms. Requirements: 1. Interest in Digital Television and in building reliable embedded systems 2. Experience in developing embedded software in ANSI C 3. Experience in MPEG2 and DVB Standards 4. User level knowledge of Linux 5. Real Time Operating Systems knowledge 6. Knowledge of aspects of multi-threaded programming 7. Fluent in English 8. Technical writing skills to produce application notes 9. Integration and bug triage skills 10. BSEE or BSCS or equivalent Additional Skills Desired: 1. MSCS 2. Embedded Linux, UNIX, BSD or any micro kernel internals experience 3. Experience with virtual machines, compilers, build environments 4.
