Role requires ability to work with cross-functional teams in Cupertino, Asia and with suppliers to ensure high quality products. Key activities will include; - Working with suppliers to set up process controls, data collection, failure analysis, corrective action and reporting (in every phase of manufacturing) for early detection and correction, continual improvement. - Evaluate suppliers’ processes and process controls to ensure product quality and reliability is built-into the product. - Review Supplier’s test plan and ensure that this meets Apple’s product requirements - Monitor supplier’s performance through measurement of production line statistics, company inspections and audits. Advise and drive corrective actions. - Interface with suppliers, OEMS&Engineering team to resolve complex manufacturing process, quality and reliability issues, utilizing DOE and statistical approach. Provide technical and systems support related to both quality systems and technical product related issues - Work with cross functional teams developing new products ensuring completion of specifications&product performance requirements. - Support new product builds at OEMS. -Support Current Products: Monitor on-going quality, follow up on open issues, drive improvements - Candidate will work with all key battery suppliers and their pack houses across China. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; -Good communication skills -2+ Experience with connector manufacturing and or quality. -Able to travel 50% of time. -Can be Shanghai or Shenzhen based. 联系方式： .
