Main Elements 1.1 Report to Strategic Purchasing Manager on day-to-day basis. 1.2 Dedicated for mechanical products which including but not limit to Connector, Cable, electronical component, mainly for the local sourcing, supplier development and new projects quotations. 1.3 Ensure suppliers are identified, assessed and selected in line with company’s expectation at quality, cost, cycle time, productivity, flexibility and responsiveness. 1.4 Manage the products qualification process through prototyping and pilot run. 1.5 Develop and update supply database for assigned strategic commodities and suppliers. 1.6 Integrate and consolidate supply base to leverage Dage purchasing power and develop long-term partnership with strategic suppliers. 1.7 Coordinate the global projects sourcing and quotation with Dage UK. 1.8 Jointly work with Engineering to initiate early supplier involvement (ESI), to pursue continual cost reduction opportunity. 1.9 Initiate, execute and manage confidentiality agreement, tooling agreement, purchasing agreement, pull system agreement, consignment stock agreement (VMI) with strategic suppliers on pricing, terms/conditions, delivery, quality and responsiveness. 1.10 Commodity market trend and technology trend analysis, supplier capability, capacity and material availability analysis, supplier manufacturing process analysis. 1.11 Identify methods for improving the efficiency and effectiveness in routine purchasing activities, sourcing and quotations, to improve the internal and external customer satisfaction. Qualifications 1.1 Engineering or Business education 1.2 3 years fully time purchasing, sourcing and local supplier development experience; contract negotiation experience is a plus. 1.3 Understand manufacturing process, procedure, methods and cost analysis as well as supplying market trend for Connector, Cable, other electronical components. 1.4 Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation aptitude. 1.5 Team player 1.6 With basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and 6 sigma strategy. 1.7 English speaker, able to communicate with expatriate management and suppliers to execute the purchasing strategy effectively. 1.8 Good in PC skills. 1.9 Self-motivated, able to work independent and under pressure, to achieve the requested timing and quality of assigned task. 联系方式： Contact Information: Tel:0512-87163733-92 Email: hr5@uniland.net.cn .
