This position works closely with, and direct reports to the Account Manager. The Senior Account Executive plays an instrumental role in closing client deals and satisfying client needs. SAEs are expected to explore, prospect, develop, penetrate, expand, and manage these designated accounts to maximize revenues and increase overall business opportunities. They are expected to have a thorough understanding of Corbis¡¯ collection of imagery, motion, rights services in order to best meet client needs. Responsibilities: Sales Execution Responsible for meeting or better yet exceeding assigned revenue targets in designated territory. Service Assigned Accounts approximately 50 accounts (New, expanding and retaining accounts as assigned) Increase business volume and maintain optimum pricing associated with assigned clients¡¯ licensing requests, as well as maximizing sales via prompt and courteous service to research requests, price negotiations and closing deals. Develop high-quality, multi-level, ¡°consultative¡± sales relationships within assigned accounts through detailed analysis of monthly licensing trends, and regular client interaction and feedback. Identify new sales opportunities and actively develop new, expand into high-level buying contacts and relationships within each assigned client in order to increase image licensing volume. Develop industry-specific and account-specific expertise related to assigned accounts in order to better understand customer needs, and create new sales opportunities. Resolve simple technical support to clients including web browser troubleshooting, image fulfillment issues, Internal Interaction Collaborate closely with Account Manager(s) to identify new sales opportunities among assigned accounts by maintaining an updated knowledge of client licensing needs. Work with researcher and client to evaluate briefs, recommend alternatives, up sell and cross sell, and to ensure images supplied can meet client need and deadline. While working closely with other sales team members, use the highest standards of interpersonal communication and ethics. Work closely with Sales Management to create business opportunities within assigned accounts. Partner with marketing to provide feedback on, and aid in the development of, compelling collateral and to report on market and creative trends. Responsible for supporting Finance related to account opening, invoicing, account information update, credit and collection activities. CRM - Maintain accurate, thorough, updated and timely notes in client contact database by recording every client encounter. Perform all daily ordering and invoicing tasks in a timely manner. Report all sales activities verbally and in writing to Sales Management in a regular basis. Requirements: Passionate, accountable, integrity, innovative, resourceful, knowledgeable, fun. Both sales and customer relations oriented personality. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented with strong time management skills required. Demonstrated success in a result-driven sales environment, with a track record of achieving and exceeding demanding sales targets. 2+ years experience in sales in a service-related field, preferably related to the image licensing, advertising, or media industries. Experience from international/large size advertising agencies a plus. Commitment to establishing a network of contacts in related and relevant industries (advertising, design, marketing, TVC production, and publishing). Ability to prioritize, react effectively to client requests that require quick response. The ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team of people. Chinese and English (CET6) language fluency required. Some traveling is required to cultivate client relationship. Bachelor¡¯s degree required. Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Internet savvy a must and digital technology a bonus.
