The document must be duly approved by key stakeholders of the organization (i.e: BUs, R+D, Manufacturing) Ensure the necessary basis of agreements between the suppliers of the specified commodity/project and our Group. Deploy and negotiate frame and master agreements with key low cost strategic suppliers defined by the Global Sourcing Director (GSD). Manage relationships with the suppliers on an ongoing basis to establish long-term relationships. Prepare yearly budgets (price forecasting for local operations: China ) and share negotiation in sync with the Global Commodity Leader in charge. Perform materials price reviews as per the nature of the commodities’ supply market. Manage the region material price rolling forecast based on global sales report forecast system. Ensure that low cost sourcing of the specified commodity/project is done systematically to provide the very best results for the company Region and Group, aiming at continues cost reduction by leveraging our company’s purchasing power and through product/material innovation. Carrying out cost, supplier’s capacity and risk analysis for all low cost strategic suppliers as defined by the GSD. Perform Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key strategic suppliers, integrating commodity team members and BUs representatives. Carrying out cost and follow up on the quarterly supplier evaluation based on the reporting from our business units in the specified area of commodity or project. Design and deploy supplier’s assessment programs aiming at reviewing as frequent as defined by the GSD. Design and implement the necessary measures to track supplier’s performance based on the KPIs approved by the GSD. Design and implementation of cost reduction and product innovation programs by leveraging on low cost suppliers, aiming at improving or maintaining the quality and service provided by the supply base under his/her responsibility and to provide our company with a continues competitive advantage through innovation by integrating suppliers into our company’s value chain. Continuous benchmarking the supply market and guarantee the appropriate level of competition in the specified area of commodity or project. Get full alignment of the decisions and proposals with the Global Commodity Leader and Commodity Teams, in case of a commodity will be locally sourced out of LCSC. Follow and respect Group Sourcing Policies, Code of conduct and global sourcing strategies as defined at group level Be responsible for getting supplier’s approval on all company specifications. This based on non technologic constraints to produce the goods and or services assigned. Carry out the necessary make/buy analysis in case of outsourcing activity Participate with the SQD’s in carrying out supplier audits, if necessary. Actively participate in new product introduction ate the earliest stage of the design Engaging the suppliers at a high level and promoting knowledge throughout our company.
