The leadership responsibility includes the entire design and build cycle from concept on thru to production implementation. Lead the implementation and startup of new automation equipment in all facilities, including identification of local site staffing requirements, training of local personnel and overseeing formal machine qualification processes. Specify and verify the process capability of all automation processes and insure that all incoming equipment meets specification. Must be computer literate. This includes the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, the use of email, and the ability to download/upload digital pictures and PLC programs. AutoCAD and 3D modeling program experience a plus. Ability to design and assemble basic jigs, fixtures, etc. Must be comfortable working on machines (i.e., changing motors, feeder bowls, camera systems, etc.). Willing to travel up to 50% of time. .
