Direct, review, and approve new product introduction from initial GO through cover fit approval, to introduction into production. 2. Liaise with Planning&Inventory Control` to ensure new product introductions are introduced in a very timely manner and that all delays are handled properly and communicated to all parties involved. 3. Prepare and organize New Program Progress Report. Prepare and update spreadsheets and provide to Product Engineer for timely update of BOM Liaise with Purchasing dept. on material availability 4. Coordinate cover fit creation and approval. Troubleshoot sewing and pattern problems Coordinate the creation, timely update, and modification of leather templates as required for production Determine leather grades in templates 5. Ensure all sew drawings are detailed and accurate showing all necessary information required by production and quality personnel in both English and Chinese. Prepare swatch cards for International shipping Monitor yield of fabric and leather PVC patterns and liaise with Development team to ensure fabric is being provided at the optimal width. 6. Communicate required sew drawing and patterns changes with U.S. design and engineering staff to ensure proper product specifications are met. 7. Periodically audit inline and new products as they are being produced in production to identify and correct problems. Verify questions regarding sew drawings, pattern problems, and other product related problems from production and quality personnel. 8. Create and maintain product information in system. Analyze existing and new products to identify cost savings opportunities that can be implemented with comprising the integrity of the design or structure of the product. 打样制图经理 Job Requirements: 1. Education BA/BS in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, or a commensurate level of related experience 2. Experience § 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment. § 2 - 3 years of upholstery industry related working experience § Technical supervision experience. § 1 2 years experience working with Lectra or equivalent pattern laying equipment hardware and software. 3. Knowledge of: Knowledge of Lectra hardware and software to be used in laying patterns for cut and sew operation with the intent to maximize material utilization. Knowledge and ability to create detailed sew drawings on GraphicSpec software. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision patterns, sew drawings, and samples. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various upholstery and upholstery related products. 4. Skills and Abilities Skills of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. § Skills of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. 联系方式： .
