ְλÀà±ð£º ¼ÆËã»úÈí¡¢Ó²¼þ/»¥ÁªÍø/IT ¹¤×÷µØµã£º ±±¾© ·¢²¼ÈÕÆÚ£º 2008-04-08 ¹¤×÷¾Ñ飺 3-5Äê ×îµÍѧÀú£º ±¾¿Æ ¹ÜÀí¾Ñ飺 ·ñ ¹¤×÷ÐÔÖÊ£º ȫְ ÕÐÆ¸ÈËÊý£º Èô¸É ְλÔÂн£º 1000-50000Ôª/Ô ְλÃèÊö/ÒªÇó£º Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations Drive development of individual new material and finish technology concepts from idea to manufacturable prototypes and risk level maturity testing. - evaluate range of process challenges to achieve a desired end appearance/function - work with suppliers (current or new) to set a plan of action for prototype creation - innovate solutions to overcome technical obstacles Support the upfront finishes technology work on new product concepts including: - Consult with subject matter experts and team associates on ¡°best practices¡± for applying finish technology to new product design - convey option possibilities and potential risk issues - Work with industrial designers, integration teams (i.e., the teams that will take over the product after the concept is validated), and business teams to iterate the design such that the product charter is fulfilled Other responsibilities include: - Reviewing/critiquing designs for applicable finishes, cost savings, risk issues, etc. - Submitting ¡°best practices¡± and ¡°lessons learned¡± briefs to knowledge database - Providing materials and finishes support to strategic component teams Specific Knowledge/Skills/Experiences -The minimum of a BSME degree is required; while advanced engineering degree(s) are preferred, portable product design experience is the overriding consideration -Must have a solid overall understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes (spraycoating, injection molding, sheet metal forming, die casting, design for manufacturability, design for assembly, etc.). Specific in-depth knowledge of a specific area is a plus. -Must have an understanding of portable product design ¡°best practices¡± (clearances, robustness, environmental stress, etc.) -Experience and knowledge of advanced materials and finishes (platings, organic materials, specialty plastics, exotic alloys, ceramic materials, etc.) is a plus -Experience and knowledge of cellular handset componentry (displays, imagers, batteries, connector systems, etc.) is a plus -Working knowledge of EE design considerations (antenna issues, ESD issues, shielding, etc.) is a plus -Limited proficiency in ProE is a plus as a means to communicate intent to suppliers, designers, try an idea, etc. Training will be provided as needed. -Must be able to work independently with a wide variety of supplier interaction in many countries and cultures, with ability to make sound onsite judgements and a driving motivation to ensure quality in our products. -English speaking skills required.
