Primary roles of the incumbent include: consultancy on all aspects of development for Service management, supervisor and administrative personnel; definition of roles and responsibilities; development of a learning map for each role; implementation of a skills gap analysis methodology; identification of learning needs and identification of teaching resources to fulfill the training need. The incumbent will liaise with, provide support to and seek support from, other key roles within Caterpillar to ensure requisite skills are in place to ensure Service excellence can be delivered to customers. ELIGIBILITY: This position requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. Incumbents will ideally have had 3 to 5 years prior, field or teaching experience, in a service focused environment preferably with heavy equipment field&shop service and equipment management experience and will have demonstrated the ability to work independently and to communicate effectively with others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers. Incumbents will have demonstrated the ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to management, peers and lower level personnel on project or learning assignments.
