Provide necessary inputs to design and validation engineers for the design implementation and quality assurance. Drive the innovation and continuous improvement within Jabil Circuit by harnessing new design technologies and methodologies. Provide exceptional support to external and internal customers, team members, and other persons through technical project cooperation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following: Enterprise Products" System Diagnostics Development for supporting product manufacturability Co-work with GTS and workcell testing engineering team to provide system level"s diagnostics software Develop the stress test, butterfly test, random test, loop-back test, error injection testing Diagnostics Diagnostics System Management Specifications and Database Design and implementation Software and hardware validation of multi-media, networks, operating systems and I/O devices against the Device Validation and Test schedule REQUIREMENTS: 6+ years computing-related design experience and 5 or more years experience in diagnostics Software development Bachelor or Master in software or computing engineering Working knowledge of Intel, AMD, Broadcom, LSI, Adaptec etc Server and Storage class Processors and chipsets Hands-on design knowledge of Gigabit, Ultra-SCSI 320, Fiber Channel, PCI-x, PCI Express, DDR-I/DDR-II, USB2.0, SATA-II&SAS, BMC and Infiniband etc Multiple programming languages such C/C++, assembly, inline assembly, python etc. Knowledge of Linux drivers, WDM driver etc., familiar with Linux kernel source code, able to optimize Linux kernel and make high performance diagnostic kernel. Knowledge of UML design language, which is used in diagnostic system design Knowledge of various diagnostic development standard such as CDM (Common Diagnostic Model), and implementation methods (WMI, Pegasus) corresponding to various Operation system. Knowledge of CPU working modes such as real mode, protected mode, big real mode SM mode etc. Knowledge of various BUS protocols such as LPC, I2C, HECI and SPI etc, and develop the related tools. Knowledge of web communication protocols, various frame work such as SPRING and hibernate, developing language such JAVA, HTML, JSP and JavaScript. Knowledge of conceptions related to BIOS(CMOS, Flash BIOS,ACPI), develop the corresponding tools related to Operation system Experience of working in medium sized multidisciplinary development teams Good knowledge of system management such as network setting up, various network service setting up(PXE,TFTP,DHCP,DNS,FTP,SLP etc), RAID making, performance monitoring and system recovering, build the system validation environment rapidly.
