The Security focus area encompasses both Database Security and Identity Management (iDM). EM covers both the Database and FMW technology space, and High Performance focuses on Coherence and Times Ten. The individual will follow the standard Product Release Process (PRP) to build a high level of field readiness through Divisional, Regional, Country&Development alignment with a focus on skills improvement programs for both internal and external communities. The objective is to ensure that Oracle’s Security, EM and High Performance (Coherence / Times Ten) solutions can be effectively positioned, implemented and the community is expanded. The candidate will manage and periodically report key success metrics such as revenue, product-mix, competitive wins/loss, critical customers and internal readiness both to APAC Management as well as to Product Development. The candidate will be responsible for knowledge management&facilitate collaboration of the above solutions’ content such as best practices, industry architectures within the APAC community as well as with other divisions in Oracle through Global Exchange Forums, Community Calls&Solution Newsletters. The candidate is expected to be a leader with strong process management and cross-functional collaboration skills. The individual will work closely with the relevant LOBs (such as Marketing, Customer Support, Customer Reference Programs, Product Development&Education) to manage the Security, EM and High Performance PRP supporting critical customers, early adopters and technology beta programs. The candidate will identify key ICON&Enterprise accounts and run strategic customer programs to create new references. The candidate is also expected to have a good understanding on the competitive issues and is expected to provide strong feedback on the technology directions to development. The candidate is expected to have a good understanding of the industry landscape, current trends and maintain expertise in product offerings, including key competitive strengths and weaknesses. Key Responsibilities: Develop, Execute and Monitor Field Training Programs for Security, Enterprise Manager and High Performance Product and Domain Skills Manage the Product Release Process, Early Adopters&Beta Programs Provide Proactive Critical Customer Support by working with OSS&Development Create and Execute Strategic Customer Programs for References Facilitate Knowledge Management&Collaboration in the focus areas Support Pre&Post Sales Engagements for Critical Customers Facilitate x-LOB Collaboration through Sales Processes such as OMP/IMP Support critical sales opportunities in regions as required SKILLS REQUIREMENTS (Essential) 10+ years of total relevant industry experience or combination of education and experience Deep understanding of the Security (Database Security and Identity Management), Enterprise Manager, and High Performance (covering Coherence and Times Ten) industry landscape, current solutions, their implications to business&key vendors Ability to articulate Oracle’s value proposition from both a business, functional and technical perspective&differentiate against competition in the focus areas Prior focus and strong commitment to product planning&process excellence Prior experience in organising / delivering skills enablement programs Excellent planning, collaboration, x-LOB Alignment and Time Management skills Excellent presentation, communication&inter-personal skills, ability to communicate at all levels within customer and partner organizations Adherence to processes is critical so this role is not for people who are uncomfortable with processes, templates, reporting etc. At least University Degree level qualification or equivalent Strong English Language Fluency both written and oral Willingness to travel as required (10-20% on an average. This will not be short trips every week but will be more of a week at a time road shows which will usually be planned in advance).
