Middleware validation engineer must verify the middleware integrated well with hardware drivers by the means of test, debug, and analysis. And she/he also has the mission to run formal test according to middleware vendor’s request and to provide well-documented evidences of the software quality. Job description: Make Middleware test strategy and plan according to product features. Communicate with Middleware vendor for technical issue, material delivery and slot confirmation. Setup and prepare test environment. Integrate Middleware software package with driver baseline and debug if necessary. Execute Middleware validation test suit cases, analyze test result, submit bugs and deliver report. Middleware vendor onsite test support. Developing tools to support our products testing activities, such as automation test tools and test scripts.... Required profile: General Fluent English language: Mandatory, Good communication capability: Mandatory, High degree of initiative and responsibility: Mandatory, Good self-sufficiency: Mandatory, Specific Mandatory Bachelor/MS degree above in Electrical or Communication engineering or Compute Science Above 2 years development or testing/validation experience on embedded IRD products. Good experience on C/C++ Professional on driver developing, especially with ST and Broadcom chips for set-top box Knowledge on middle-ware technology, such as OPENTV Good experience on digital video broadcast (DVB, ATSC…) or Networks and Telecom area (Video of IP, IPTV…). Nice to have Be familiar with Python, Perl, TCL, Java. Any one of them is good plus.
