With sales in excess of $3 billion, Transportation is headquartered in Erie, PA, and employs approximately 8,000 employees worldwide. Title: Lead Manufacturing Support Engineer - Aircraft Engine Parts Responsibilities: Provide engineering support for Aircraft Engine parts manufacturing in China. Work with cross business functions to review and evaluate manufacturing document, timely dispose non-conforming material and provide corrective action plan. Evaluate and develop solutions for manufacturing and design-related problems. Lead initiatives that increase process capability and design robustness, develop and implement process improvement for nonconformance reduction and cost reduction. Provide timely closure on key production-related Vendor Substantiation Engineering (VSE) risk assessment, repair plan, and technical requirements. Conduct meetings to determine a repair for nonconformances and to shorten the NPI cycle as required. Qualifications: BSME or above 5+ years working experience in aeronautical or related industry Aircraft engine design/analysis experience. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong English language skills, both written and oral Self-motivated and a self-starter as a team player.
