Strong end-user focus. Requirements/Qualifications : BS/BA in computer science, engineering or related area preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years software testing experience Strong black-box testing skills a MUST. Knowledge of Microsoft and/or industry testing standards, methods and conventions required. Intermediate knowledge of supported Microsoft operating systems, internet browsers required. Working knowledge of XML, scripting and localization testing techniques and Windows User Interface guidelines preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft product development methods preferred. Demonstrated independence in testing and providing high quality feedback is required. Demonstrated high level of accountability and personal responsibility leading to the success of projects required. Broad expertise in wide areas of Windows client/server development environment usability practices, Windows UI, design standards and software quality assurance practices. Multiple Browser Knowledge IE 5.01 to current Multiple OS Knowledge of Windows 98 thru XP Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills. Willing to drive issues.
