The developments are made on LINUX/RTAI (with an abstraction layer guaranteeing an OS independent development). Some development tools are used within the team to ease team work, i.e. software configuration management (using CVS), bug tracking, documentation management, project follow up. Responsibility: - Analyze and design different features based on the understanding of system requirements and system architectures. - Specify, develop, unitary test, contribute to SW modules integration. - Work in collaboration with other members and use selected and already deployed development methodologies /tools. - Bring expected support to internal and external customers. The development environment is the following: - DTV Headend domain (MPEG2, MPEG4-AVC, etc video standards) - LINUX/RTAI (with an abstraction layer guaranteeing an OS independent development) - Embedded WEB server - GNU binary tools (make, gcc, ld, elf) and configuration management systems (CVS, ClearCase) - Multisite environment with frequent communication in English with the rest of the team located in France Qualifications: - Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Masters preferred). - 2-6 years working experience in IT industry and at least 2 year in Digital TV area. - Good knowledge in MPEG2/MPEG4-AVC/DVB - Capacity to specify and develop an object oriented application. - Strong skills in (Java Applet and HTML) / (C++ and C) development and good experience in debug of difficult integration issues and test aspects - Strong Knowledge of LINUX/Windows environment and Good experience in real time software development and associated constraints - XML/XSL knowledge is a key advantage and knowledge and experiences of UML is a plus. - Team spirit and good communication skills are mandatory to insure efficient link with the team. - Fluent English is required The candidate shall demonstrate a big motivation in achieving high performance embedded software. 联系方式： .
