Ensure all new product introduction rules and regulations are followed as required. To constantly review and manage all product ranges of metal working and rolling fluids to ensure they meet customer and market requirements, aligning them to BU global core range as and when available. To recommend changes either according to market requirements, output from PLP (product line positioning) process, changes in raw material availability or chemical registration constraints. Responsible for metal working and rolling fluids product rationalization exerci, pricing, promotion and trials whenever necessary. Work closely with supply chain, technology and HSSE teams on all product packaging issues of metal working and rolling fluids such as: Product package/ design Label standard PDS, MSDS format (ensure it is line with national regulations) Conduct detailed study and analysis to track business performance of particular product or product range and provide feedback and recommendations to maximize profits. Develop&implement proactive new product launch plan for Auto/MM segments. Update existing segment offer&Implement new segment offer launches for Auto/MM segments. Proactively involved in various activities including but not limited to seminar, customer / conference, bidding process, and exhibition. Develop and keep contact with local segment associations and related organizations to better understand segment trend and customer needs. Prepare product sales brochures and sales talkers to support value selling. EDUCATION BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS University degree level . Preferably have sales, technical, engineering and marketing background/qualifications . 5 years working in industrial environment or relevant experience . Proficient in English and Mandarin . Able to operate office computer software . COMPETENCIES Product and services knowledge: strong ability in new product introduction process and maintenance of existing product range with the intention of returning maximum yield, while simultaneously anticipating and meeting customer expectations in product offering skillful application . Regulatory requirement: good knowledge of the regulatory requirements and applies knowledge when establishing process and procedure within the organization skillful application . Pricing: strong ability to establish price for specific products based on market data, strategy and market plan skillful application . Product planning: good understanding of product management requirements for balancing customer volume needs with capacity at minimum costs skillful application . Portfolio management: strong ability to manage a portfolio of products and services, good understanding of the value of each and identifying the need for changes based on needs skillful application . Strong communication&influencing skills at all levels and good understanding of the local business cultures and practices are required.
