Job Title - General Manger, Human Resources Department - Human Resources Location - Shenzhen or Hongkong Reports to - Managing Director of the Group Position Purpose and General Areas of Responsibilities : - Participate as a proactive member of the Executive Management Team of the Group, taking end-to-end HR responsibility to contribute to the company’s business success through partnering with business managers. - Proactively perform critical role as organization change agent and internal consultant for providing value added counseling and recommendations to help address people related issues to support good business decisions. - Provide leadership that ensures the organization’s ability to attract, develop, retain talents and fully leverage human resources to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. - Demonstrate and promote Company Vision, Mission and Values, be a role model to influence all levels to live the Corporate Values and apply them into daily work life. Specific Areas of Responsibilities : - Set HR strategy for the organization to support business strategies, and formulate action plans to ensure the proper execution of the HR strategy. - Achieve goals and objectives through effective management of the HR team. Select right people, provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to develop team members’ capability, and ensure succession plan for key positions in place. - Ensure aligned HR policies, procedures and systems are in place and in compliance with the applicable employment laws and regulations at various locations; develop and customize additional people initiatives to compliment business needs in close conjunction with Corporate HR of the parent company. - Develop sourcing strategy and drive hiring initiatives to secure people with required competency to meet business growth needs in various markets, including but not limited to Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean areas. - Keep a pulse on market dynamics in terms of compensation and benefits trends to ensure competitive C package to attract, motivate and retain qualified people; provide counseling to guide offer process and salary review process. - Improve and enhance Performance Management System to differentiate outstanding / poor performers and develop appropriate plans to cope with different situations. Provide managers with coaching and counseling for handling employees’ performance related issues / matters. - Support the assessment of training and leadership development needs to define the organization learning requirements and develop rollout strategy and plans. - Design learning programs based on needs analysis that support the organization’s strategic objectives. Evaluate training effectiveness and feedback to management team for improvement. - Support succession planning processes and related talent development initiatives to build up internal talent pipeline. - Lead the effort in creating best employer image and drive the development and execution of employee survey action plans to improve overall employee satisfaction. - Serve as an objective communication channel for employee relation issues in a manner that potential risk for the company is well managed. - Plan HR budget, manage and rationalize all HR related costs to fully utilize resources. - Establish and sustain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders and partners; manage relationship with HR vendors to continuously upgrade service quality. - Provide accurate HR reports to management team and Corporate HR of the parent company in a timely manner to help pinpoint weak areas and develop improvement plan. - Respond to ad hoc requests from Managing Director for HR related matters, and deliver enquiry by Corporate HR of the parent company for employee related matters / data. Specific Requirements for the Position Essential: - Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 6 years in a management position - Thorough knowledge of applicable employment laws, compensation philosophies and the HR systems and practices in the markets of Mainland China and Hongkong - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Result oriented, self-starter with initiative and strong execution drive - People management and development - People acumen Preferred: - MBA or equivalent degree in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent relevant experience. - Strong understanding of change management - Competent in all HR functional areas (staffing, compensation, learning and development, etc.) - Ability to apply strategic thinking to broad HR issues - Ability to coach senior managers regarding organization and leadership effectiveness issues - Strong leadership skills 联系方式: Please send your CV in both English and Chinese to recruiter@britay.org .
