At the Mobile Enhancements unit, we create products that further add to the functionality of Nokia mobile devices. With our audio, imaging and messaging devices, car and home electronics products as well as new wearable lifestyle products, we will change the way mobile users work, play, and communicate. General Purpose Advises, guides and gives input to engineering community in specific research or technology area (Audio). Description: We are looking for a professional Senior Audio Design engineer to fill this key position in our Enhancements R team. The responsibilities of Senior Design Engineer include specification of audio related product requirements&features, audio and acoustical design, testing of headsets and headphones, audio technology development and fulfillment of other audio related product development tasks. The product development will be done in Joint R mode, so in addition to Nokia"s internal activities, you need to be able to co-ordinate work and co-operate with our supplier’s. This position will offer you an opportunity to work in multinational environment with ultimate R professionals. The daily tasks will vary and provide interesting challenges so that you are able to develop your personal competences. In addition you will have an opportunity to grow to a true R specialist or project manager. Requirements Qualifications: You have a B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Audio Engineering and 5+ years of work experience in electronics industry. On top of this, you have a deep knowledge of product development, audio electronics, headphone acoustics, audio verification tools&methods and capability drive audio related technology or test method development. Understanding HW, Digital Signal Processing and Mechanics and of their dependencies to audio performance of a headset product is essential. You should also be adept in using Microsoft Office tools. We are looking for a team player who is also able to work independently. Good communication skills are essential in our multicultural workplace and you are fluently both speaking and writing English.
