This role will focus on supporting current customers in addition to targeting new and profitable niche market and customers. Essential Functions : The position will allow Ours Industrial Resins Specialties Team to: --Increase the value proposition we provide to customers by identifying current and future needs --Increase Ours market intelligence. --Gain understanding of unmet needs in the market into which we serve. --Proactively identify new markets/customers. --Enable Our to prioritize technical activates by developing business opportunities related to new and existing opportunities. --Build healthy and trustworthy relationships within the Composites’ market (e.g., trade committee leadership roles) --Serve as Key Account Manager for specific accounts. --Responsible for achieving sales/contribution targets for assigned accounts --Develop&maintain contacts and relationships at assigned accounts --Follow account planning process and develop demand forecast profiles. --Execute market strategies in assigned accounts and territories --Develop key targets for market segments and assigned territories --Maintain customer data (ex: expected demand for current products, company changes). --Strong participant in New Process&Product Development (NPPD) requirements. --Develop business cases quantifying/justifying new market opportunities. --This position involves of at least 40% Geographies Covered: Asia-Primarily-Korea, Taiwan, china, Singapore,; Secondary-Thailand, Malaysia, India, Japan Key competencies: Strategic Focus and Direction Trust and Teamwork Personal Leadership Achieve Business Results Knowledge/Education/Skills/Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree, with a Polymer/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering concentration.. --Minimum 5 years of proven sales and technical service experience. --Superior communication skills required with the ability to influence and sell ideas to both internal and external customers at all levels of the organization. --Must be able to interact and develop relationships with cross functional individuals including senior management level. --Must exhibit the ability to manage projects and timelines. --Must have basic chemical industry knowledge. --Must have good computer application skills. --Should have reasonable statistical analysis skills. --Must be willing to travel at least 60%. --Background experience in the composite/adhesives applications would be useful.
