THE COMPANY e-accent is a small, award-winning web development start-up based in the Netherlands and in China, with most customers in Europe and the US. We develop and maintain web applications for customers mainly in the media sector. e-accent is a daughter of HollandChina, an agency working for customers like Henkel and the World Wildlife Fund. e-accent is a special place to work: All of us work from our homes; we “live” in a couple of Campfire chatrooms. The Netherlands’ largest employer’s organization just awarded us with the “Best distance working organization 2007” prize. Working times are flexible and can be discussed. THE JOB Develop optimized/cross-platform Front-End code in CSS/XHTML (with JavaScript/AJAX) Develop functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts, Collaborate with product managers, designers and application engineers to refine and improve the user experience.
