Management of all HP Blade servers, VMware, Citrix servers, Windows servers including hardware/software maintenance, system configuration, availability/performance monitoring and optimization at the regional data centre. Resolves complex problems relate to the servers, VMware, PC/LAN, UNIX, Citrix, and telecommunications technologies. Performs security administration for the mid-range and LAN processing platforms. Maintaining server operational procedures and standards. Provide support for infrastructure services hardware, operating system, and software platforms Troubleshooting and resolution of server&Citrix issues. Management of Data Centre, including SAN, tape library, backup servers&UPS, including SANs - two or more of HP, EMC, Sun, HDS, IBM, HP; Fiber Channel solutions, such as Brocade, tape libraries (HP, IBM), backup solutions - two or more of Veritas NetBackup, BackupExec, Management of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions Installation and management of hardware and software patches, updates, new releases, anti-virus, backups etc. Management of global Active Directory network security including group policy objects, organization units, groups and domains Management, monitoring and administration of file, application, database, Citrix and Exchange servers Participation in annual audit testing and internal control management Management and monitoring of new implementation and upgrade projects This professional will be a part of the global IT infrastructure support operations. Required Skills or Abilities: In order of importance, list the specific skills or abilities which a qualified individual should possess (e.g., computer literacy, subject knowledge, etc.). Strong presentation and communication skills both written and verbal are a must. Proven leadership and project management skills will be highly valuable in this position. Minimum five (5) years of technical experience with servers, SAN, network, Exchange, Windows 2000&2003 Active Directory, backup systems. Sound Working knowledge&experience of HP Blade server, SAN, VMWare (ESX server, Virtual Centre, etc.), Citrix 4.5, Experience in maintaining mission critical production systems running in a data center environment. LAN / WAN architecture and implementation skills are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent education or work experience.
