The Regional Site Solutions Product Manager is responsible for the overall profitability of the total Site solution by iden internal or 3rd party equipment or components that will solve our Broadband customer¡¯s service delivery challenges w maintaining Site Solution profitability. The Regional Site Solutions Product Manager must maintain the competitiveness of the Total Site Solution by investig and understanding what the competition offers and by studying trends and regional customer requirements. The Regional Site Solutions Product Manager during the concept and product development phases of a Site Solution understand and acknowledge factors that will impact the completion of the total solution. Work closely with NSN CMO Customer Team (CT) and SSM teams to understand customer requirements Manage customer and CT expectations and commitments Work within standard existing solutions when possible Promote out of box thinking when required to find solutions Conceive and develop solutions that answer customer challenges Competitor Analysis- Track market, technology and competitor trends as they relate to Site Solutions. Investigate the competitions products positioning and identify their strong points and weaknesses Create product roadmaps, planning product releases and strategies. Help determine and track the product development and creation Manage possible product deviations and changes Investigate and identify possible partners when required by understanding end user customer¡¯s equipment approval processes Assist and make recommendations for strategy and portfolio decisions to DSLAM BL Distribute Site Solutions related market data and customer requirements to DSLAM BL Recommend product line targets to DSLAM BL based on Site Solutions learning¡¯s REQUIREMENTS: Individual must have extensive knowledge and experience on Broadband xDSL deployments and regional standards a practices Must have working experience in Outside Plant, i.e. Engineering, construction and maintenance. Preferably from work and in a Service Provider network. Qualification and understanding in a technical/ engineering subject, ability to discuss technical product development m i.e. Electrical, Thermal and Mechanical with development design engineers. Experience with regional remote and local powering standards, Lightening and foreign voltage protection and metallic access in the local loop is desired.
