Min. 3 years of related C/C++/Java experience Formal training or hands on experience in Embedd Linux system level programming, Embedded languages (C++/Java), multi-threaded programming. (Preferred) Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Good skills in working with peers Good English Communication (reading/writing/) skills. Basic technical reporting skill Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations Desire to learn and improve self-skills MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in functional specification and design phases of development process with supervision Develop, maintain, and extend assigned software modules in timely manner, using accepted coding practices Specify and perform unit testing of developed software modules Fix and verify bugs in software modules as directed by manager or project lead engineer Assist publications department as required to document product Assist quality engineers as required to develop and review test plans, and isolate software faults Participate in code reviews Report status in a timely fashion as requested by manager or project lead engineer Create the Functional Specification (FS) and Software Design Document Review the Test Plan Create and review the Bug Fix Description (BFD) Lead and participate in the Code Review Create, review and execute the Bug Fix Test Case. Create the Test Result for Normal Case.
